Here's an intriguing flute in ebony (or perhaps blackwood?), marked 1916, made by Rudall Carte & Co. Some of the things we'll see will include a French style 5-key in F, an all-ivory flute, a short D foot, a Bb foot, a 13-key, a Brille mechanism, a one piece body, duplicate Bb keys, post mounted keys, a flute with reverse tenons, a flute with all pewter plugs, and one with flat plate keys. Some Unusual Rudalls In this page, I'm going to introduce you to some unusual flutes and some unusual features I've come across in my studies of the work of Rudall, Rose and Carte in their various combinations. From what I could find out, the company was taken over in 1950-60s? So it must be older than that. The designed combined-type laser absolute ranging system can meet the performance requirement of high precision, fast measuring speed and dynamic measurement.It is a Rudall Carte & Co Graduate series 80 with the serial number: 487746. The result indicates that the femtosecond laser distance measuring and the phase laser ranging can achieve a precision of 1 μm+0.5 μm/m and a dynamic ranging precision of ☑0 mm respectively within the measurement range of 60 m, which can satisfy the precision requirement of combined ranging system in long-distance measurement. Finally, the precisions of femtosecond laser distance measuring system and phase laser ranging were tested experimentally. phase-shift laser ranging, the optical path and signal processing system were designed. Then an absolute range scheme combing the femtosecond laser distance measuring with the phase-shift laser ranging was developed. Firstly, the operating principle and performance characteristics of laser tracker were introduced. A combined laser absolute ranging system was designed to achieve the high-precision absolute ranging performance of laser tracker.
